Who said it? JFK, of course
What does this JFK quote mean to you?
Back in 1963, at a time when things like intentions, values, and actions had meaning, JFK made this important distinction about justice in the court of common sense. Politics in those days had much more accountability to accompany actions and justice that actually got served, though tragedy struck and JFK did not get to play out his presidency.
When semantic lines get blurred, thanks to Trumpian leadership that wanted everything of meaning to be called into question, starting with passing of complete nonsense as fact, making lying popular (numbing us to truth and denying service of justice when convenient to do so), then cheating and stealing is just another way of seeking power and control.
But it is also how we get the love we never received as children, so what will you do about it?
